Marjorie Cottage is a delightful former fisherman's cottage dating back to the late 1870's. The cottage is ideally situated in the coastal town of Sheringham which makes it a perfect location from which to base yourself to explore the many beautiful areas that north norfolk has to offer. Thoughtfully restored, Marjorie Cottage offers comfortable and well equipped self catering holiday accommodation in Sheringham for four guests. The property is a five minute walk from Sheringham Town centre and just three minutes from Sheringham Blue flag beach. |

The property is a five minute walk from Sheringham Town centre and just three minutes from Sheringham Blue flag beach. Sue and Stephen would like to invite you to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable holiday at Marjorie Cottage. As soon as you open the door and see the exposed beams, a wood burner and traditional fireplaces throughout, we are sure you will agree this will be a truly home from home holiday. We are pleased to announce that the property was awarded an English Tourism Council Three Stars *** Rating for Self catering properties in July 2001. The local area boasts a wealth of local attractions for all the family whatever your interests may be. |
You can enjoy the wonderful views whilst taking a Steam train ride on the much loved north Norfolk Railway alighting at Sheringham station you can stop off at Weybournes picturesque station on your journey to the north Norfolk railway newly renovated Holt station. Visits to the National Trust properties of Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are a must where you can spend the whole day exploring the houses, gardens and parks. Norfolk also boasts a very strong association with the Royal family. Sandringham House, which is one of the three permanent residence of Queen Elizabeth II, is open to the public at certain times of the year (please check opening times on the official web site). Bird watching on the north Norfolk coast is especially popular and Sheringham is an area that is also well know for it's wildlife reserves. If however golf is your passion, Marjorie cottage is ideally situated for Sheringham golf club. Sheringham is just a two and half hour journey by train from London and there are also good road links to and from all regions. European sea ports are also close by making it an easy destination to reach from Germany and the Benelux countries. |
